is a small, artsy(southwestern) town located in the high mountain desert of New Mexico. And yes, it snows! In the winter S.F is extremely cold, and in the summer extremely hot, with the exception of monsoons. It other words, the S.F weather is extreme.
The city itself , however, is far from extreme. S.F is a city that’s always on siesta. All the stores worth mentioning close at nine p.m.
About an hour north of Albuquerque, Santa Fe is more known for its art galleries and hiking trails than Albuquerque’s own Balloon Fiesta and Breaking Bad. New Mexico is often called “Land of Entrapment” because its beauty and meager state wealth has been known to “trap” visitors and residents alike. It’s actually a play on the license plate tagline, which reads, “Land of Enchantment.” But I guess that phrase is funnier, or scarier (not sure which). Much of the beauty can be seen looking up into the wide, desert sky. At dusk, sunsets here are extraordinary and unique.
